Alpha Erec Ingredients: The Six Names and What Each Was Studied For

Quick answer

Alpha Erec is one chewable gummy a day, and its named ingredients are L-arginine HCl, ashwagandha root, horny goat weed, tribulus terrestris, maca root extract and Panax ginseng. L-arginine feeds the nitric-oxide pathway behind the circulation line, and ginseng carries the most human research for the use the gummy is sold for. The cards below give each one’s job, the dose its research used and how strong that evidence is.

  • 6 named ingredients
  • 1 gummy a day
  • 30 gummies a bottle

The six Alpha Erec named ingredients at a glance

One bottle, six named ingredients, one gummy a day. The six cards on this page start from these names.

The six named ingredients, illustratedMade for this site from the named list. The raw-plant pictures show each ingredient; the bottle’s facts panel is the record of what each gummy holds.

This illustration, made for this site, sets the six named ingredients around the bottle in two columns: L-arginine HCl, ashwagandha root and horny goat weed on the left; tribulus terrestris, maca root extract and Panax ginseng on the right. Each name sits over a picture of its raw form: a scoop of white arginine powder, pale ashwagandha roots, a flowering epimedium stem, the spiked tribulus fruit, knobbly maca roots and a forked ginseng root.

It puts a face to each name before the cards below take them one at a time. It is a guide to the names rather than a Supplement Facts panel: the full list and the amount of each are on the bottle that arrives, and the form is a chew rather than a capsule or a liquid.

  • One amino acid and five plant ingredients
  • Two adaptogen roots, ashwagandha and Panax ginseng
  • Three traditional herbs: maca, tribulus and horny goat weed
  • One gummy a day, the whole serving

How the evidence meter is read

Moderate means pooled human trials for this use with a measurable benefit, as with L-arginine and Panax ginseng. Modest means small trials, or a result on a neighbouring outcome, as with maca’s effect on desire and ashwagandha’s on stress. Weak means the human data are thin or point the other way, as with tribulus and horny goat weed. No ingredient here reaches Strong, because none has large, consistent trials for circulation, stamina and drive together.

How they group

Three jobs the six named Alpha Erec ingredients split between them

The six are not six versions of the same idea. They sort into three roles.

Circulation: L-arginine HCl

The one amino acid among the six. The body turns arginine into nitric oxide, the signal that lets blood-vessel walls relax. Across ten trials and 540 men pooled by Rhim 2019, 1,500–5,000 mg a day beat placebo on erectile-function scores.

Resilience: ashwagandha and ginseng

Two roots with a long history as adaptogens. Ashwagandha’s trials centre on stress and cortisol: nine trials and 558 people in Arumugam 2024. Ginseng’s centre on erectile-function scores, with a pooled risk ratio of 2.40 across 349 men in Jang 2008.

Drive: maca, tribulus, horny goat weed

Three traditional herbs. Maca has the one clean human result on desire, from week eight of a 12-week trial (Gonzales 2002). Tribulus and horny goat weed have a long history of folk use and a thinner run of human trials.

Put together, the formula reads as one circulation ingredient, two roots for how the body handles pressure, and three herbs aimed at drive. That split explains why the two supports this site repeats read the way they do: blood flow and circulation on one line, energy, stamina and drive on the other.

Dose analysis

Alpha Erec per-gummy amounts beside the research doses

The one place on this page where the dose question is set against the literature.

No per-gummy amount for any of the six has been supplied to this desk, so no reader of this page, and no one on this desk, can say whether one gummy reaches the dose any of these trials used. For L-arginine that matters most, because its trials used large daily amounts: 1,500–5,000 mg a day for erectile function and 4–24 g a day for blood pressure.

A dose that worked in a trial is a yardstick, not a promise about the gummy.

Read the middle column as what each ingredient has done at a known dose, and the right-hand column as how much of that research exists. Neither column describes the finished gummy, which has no published trial of its own. The amounts on your bottle’s facts panel are the authority, and this table is the yardstick to hold them against.

Seller claims, checked

What the Alpha Erec seller’s page adds to the six

Two sources describe the same gummy. Where they differ on ingredients, this is how the difference is handled.

The seller’s page describes the formula as “8 clinically studied botanicals” and lists L-citrulline, fenugreek extract, zinc and vitamin D3 beside the six. No Supplement Facts panel has reached this desk, so this site cannot say which of the ten names are in each gummy, or in what amount. It profiles the six it can research and leaves the full list to the bottle.

Ingredient FAQ

Alpha Erec ingredient questions

Short answers to what buyers ask this desk about the named ingredients.

Which Alpha Erec ingredient does the most for circulation?

L-arginine HCl. It is the raw material for nitric oxide, which relaxes blood-vessel walls. In eleven trials pooled by Dong 2011, 4–24 g a day lowered systolic pressure by 5.39 mmHg and diastolic by 2.66 mmHg against placebo.

Does Alpha Erec contain testosterone or any hormone?

No hormone is named. The six profiled here are one amino acid and five plant ingredients, and the further names on the seller’s page are an amino acid, a herb, a mineral and a vitamin. Two reviews of tribulus found no reliable rise in testosterone (Qureshi 2014, Vilar Neto 2025), and maca changed desire with no change in testosterone.

Is horny goat weed safe to take every day?

In the one controlled human study (Yong 2021), 58 post-menopausal women took 740 mg a day of Epimedium prenylflavonoids for six weeks without safety problems. Its icariin acts on the same enzyme family as prescription ED medicines in laboratory work, so if you take one of those, ask the doctor who prescribed it first.

Can I take Alpha Erec with a blood-pressure medicine?

Check first. L-arginine lowered blood pressure in trials, and ginseng may affect clotting and blood sugar (NCCIH). The seller’s own FAQ names blood-pressure medicines, blood thinners and diabetes medicines as the ones to check first. Side effects and interactions has the detail.

Are all six named Alpha Erec ingredients plant-based?

Five are plant ingredients: two roots, a root extract and two traditional herbs. L-arginine HCl is an amino acid in its hydrochloride salt form. The gummy base and setting agent have not been supplied to this desk, so read the bottle’s label if a diet depends on it.
